I am a big fan of Alan Arkin (back from the days when he was Yossarian in Catch 22 — which if you haven't seen or read it has striking relevance in today's times). Arkin's presence in a movie is usually an indication of something good as he tends to pick quality projects and brings a lot to the table in terms of his own abilities.







I watched Thirteen Conversations About One Thing last night on dvd and it's worth the rental. Click on Arkin's image above for the plot outline at imdb. Good cast which includes John Turturro, Amy Irving, Matthew McConaughey and the aforementioned Arkin.
